Welcome to Peace out Paradise memberships. Our program is designed to support a wide range of studio users with different creative habits, making the studio accessible, flexible, and enjoyable for the whole community.

Explore the membership tiers below to find the option that best suits how you like to work at the studio.

Please note that an Onboarding Tour is required before your first independent work session at POP. The tour is completely free, takes around 45 minutes, and will get you familiar with the studio.

Earlybird Membership

With our new opening hours and unlimited check-ins, Early Bird members now have even more access to POP.

  • Check-ins: Unlimited

  • Access: Wed, Thurs, Fri (check-out before 3pm)

  • Initial sign-up period: 3 months (then renewed monthly)

  • Cancellation Period: remainder of current month + 1 calendar month

The important details

  • An Onboarding Tour must be completed before your first visit whether or not you have taken a class with us.

    • Your membership starts at the moment of booking.

    • Billing takes place on the same date each month

    • Minimum membership commitment is one full month for Flexible members and 3 full months for Earlybird and Full members and renews on a rolling basis.

    • For Earlybird members, extra check-ins outside of the designated Earlybird hours can be purchased for 20€ (incl. MwSt.)

    • For Flexible members, extra check-ins after the 4th check-in of that month can be purchased for 20€ (incl. MwSt.)

    • memberships can be cancelled after the minimum sign-up period has elapsed. The notice period for a cancellation is the remainder of the current month + 1 month.

  • All members are eligible for 10% off POP classes. Please reach out for the discount code of the month.

  • Members must be able to work independently. We strongly advise that you have taken a longer course (with us or any other studio) where you have learned the full process of working with clay and glazes.

    If you are unsure if your experience is sufficient feel free to always contact us via email.

  • The following opening hours apply to all members and time-card holders except for those holding an Earlybird membership.

    • Wednesday: 9am-9pm

    • Thursday: 9pm-9pm

    • Friday: 9am-6pm

    • Saturday: 11am-6pm

    • Sunday: 11am-6pm

    Earlybird members are welcome to use the studio during POP’s opening hours on weekdays before 3pm.

  • Firing fees are charged additionally by weight for each firing.

  • Our studio is nearly 400 m² in size, including main working space, glazing room, class room, project space, chill out areas and a large back yard.

    We want Peace out Paradise to be a creative oasis in the middle of the city and we encourage the Berlin ceramics community to meet and exchange here at POP.

    POP Studio overview:

    • Check-in area

    • Prep room including 2 large handbuilding tables, slab roller and clay press

    • A large open membership work space with 8 wheels, two large tables for hand building with clay

    • A separate class room with 7 wheels to use at times where no class is happening

    • A separate glazing room

    • A huge backyard

    • A shop and event area

    • A community lounge area, including a small library of inspiring ceramics books, coffee station and microwave

    • Spacious kiln area

    • Designated wedging stations

    • Community storage shelves for storing greenware, bisqueware and glazeware and finished pieces

    • Unisex bathroom with two toilets

    • Lockers for day use

  • If you need additional space for personal items that you want to leave in the studio, we rent out storage boxes for 20€/month. Please contact the studio if you are interested in this.
