Sketching & Handbuilding Totems, Spirits and Nature

Join us for a one-off workshop exploring the nature that inhabits the surroundings of PoP. Together, we’ll take a short walk through the neighbourhood, observing and sketching to gather inspiration from the plants, leaves, flowers, seeds, and characters that inhabit the area.

We’ll then return to the studio for a guided hand-building session in clay. Using these collected inspirations, participants will create their own clay guardians, spirits, totems, or imagined creatures connected to the life and atmosphere of this small part of Kreuzberg.

Everyone is welcome and no previous clay experience needed.

    • 3 hour workshop, including time sketching and gathering outside of POP and time handbuilding inside the studio.

    • all materials provided, including clay, paper and pencils.

    • 1 piece included to be glazed and fired by an experienced POP team member for you to keep. All additional pieces can be fired at regular studio firing fees.
