Bonus Time gives all students on our multi-session courses the opportunity to come back into the studio throughout the course and continue practising, experimenting and developing ideas independently. Think of it as extra time to get to know the studio, revisit what you learned in class, or simply enjoy making at your own pace.
How Bonus Time works
One free check-in for each course session
For every session in your multi-session course, you get one free studio check-in. Taking a 4-session course? That means 4 free check-ins to use during your course. You can use these however you like throughout your course — 4 in a row, or one a week.
Use them before your course ends
Your Bonus Time is valid throughout your course and expires on the last day of your course. Any unused check-ins cannot be carried over.
Visit during open studio hours
Use your free check-ins during any open studio hours, except Sundays.
Complete an onboarding tour first
Before your first independent studio visit, you'll need to complete an onboarding tour. You can do this before your course begins, so you're ready to use your Bonus Time from day one.
Book your onboarding tour here. Tours take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Firing your work
All work made independently during Bonus Time is treated the same as studio work, not class work, so please sign each piece with your own maker’s mark.
Standard studio firing fees and turnaround times apply. Bonus Time pieces are fired separately from class work and must be paid, fired and collected separately.
Please follow the studio rules
Bonus Time is studio access just like any other independent studio membership. All studio rules and safety guidelines must be followed at all times. This helps keep the studio safe, respectful and enjoyable for everyone. Please treat the space, equipment and other studio members with the same care and consideration as you would during any other studio visit.
Still have questions?
Most things will be covered during your onboarding tour, and a member of staff is always happy to help in the studio. If you're unsure about anything before then, just send us an email.
we look forward to seeing you in the studio!
